Fallout The Frontier Game Review

Fallout The Frontier is a new game mod that come from the team that created the famous Van Buren and has been improved, reworked and polished to be a better game than Van Buren. This game plays like the old games we played on computers in the 80s, but improves on it in many ways. For example, the whole story line is more open, there are more quests and the ones you don't complete don't give a lot of content, so you're not forced to do them. There are also several different starting areas, each with their own unique atmosphere and story line. Also, as some people might recall, the graphics were pretty basic when Fallout first came out, but this version improves on that and looks really nice.

One of the most important improvements made by the game mod is the improvement made on the game's mechanics, specifically the VATS system. The Frontier takes us back to a much more basic game mechanic, where your ability to fight means less money, food and medical supplies, which in turn means you can't buy armor or carry anything. Now you'll also need to conserve your food and energy, which is made easier by the new inventory system that is easier to use and detailed, and will save you a ton of time, making things just a bit easier.

The Frontier also takes us inside of some interesting locations and towns, like Watergate, which is one of the best places in the game to grind, get high rank weapons, and also has a great reputation to keep up. Megaton is also another location worth exploring, offering some good loot, as well as a place to train your companion without having to grind. The dungeons are harder than the originals, taking the series into a new level of design and challenge. Overall, The Frontier takes the idea behind the classic Fallouts and adds a few improvements here and there to make it a better game.
